It started. I found one in the quiet dark and found a costume seller. I got one my first festival and wanted to try again. I got the same costume again. I'm going to wear it for a while but if people get loud I'll take it off again.

Teacher liked it last time and so did some others. I wonder if they'll like it again this time.

People are talking about the new food and other things. There are pumpkins. Maybe I can find one.

Alloran asked if I was going to get a new cloak. Teacher gave me mine. I like wearing it. I don't think I'll wear a different one. Maybe I'll get it in case this one gets ruined. Not now. Now I go back to the quiet dark to rest.

It's getting closer. People told me about it alot today. Everyone seems excited.

I talked with Avaryn. She wasn't very happy. I don't know why. Maybe the festival will help her. I hope so.

Butterfly was selling one and I bought it. I went to a safe place and tried it. It worked. I can go there now even with the orb. I can still see. I'm glad. Later I told him about some demons I saw. He said he didn't know anyone who could get them. I hope he finds someone.

The loud bright place isn't as upsetting now. I looked back at this entry. I have lots of hopes.

I woke and left the quiet dark. I saw Kyle and Calamon. I met another but didn't ask his name. I should have. I unlocked things and he said he'd pay me. I said I'd been paid already.

I decided I was going to try to be brave. I went to the loud bright caves and walked around there. It was scary but I stayed. I don't like it there but I can go back if I have to. I won't run again. There's a place in the bright part that is darker. It looks like someone worked there.

I don't know how they could work with all the noise. Maybe the loud things came later. I'll ask Teacher. He'll know.

He said it's not my fault and I shouldn't apologize. He says it's his fault but he doesn't make mistakes. He didn't know about it either so it can't be his fault. Maybe I'll go back until I get used to it. It won't be anyone's fault.

I saw Lowrenzo and he tried to explain about words. He says they mean what the person wants them to. That's confusing. What if people want them to mean different things? Who wins? He was nice that day. Before he wasn't saying nice things but he apologized and it was ok.

I saw her again but I don't think she was awake. Maybe I'll tell her it's not good to sleep where anyone can pass by.
